The Municipality Launches 7 Projects on Amman's Investment Map Today

Amman, Al-Ghad - The Greater Amman Municipality today launches its investment and development arm, Amman Vision Investment and Development, by announcing 7 projects of varying sizes in the capital to Jordanian and international investors. Informed sources at the Municipality told Al-Ghad that these include the Abdoun corridor, the motor city in Al-Madouneh, an international amusement park and others. The Municipality will launch a promotional campaign for the projects inside and outside Jordan, with a view to encouraging and incentivising investors to come to Amman. Municipality officials said Amman is witnessing "a leap in the digital transformation of its services, its regulations and its dealings with investors." The new company will work to invest the Municipality's various assets, in addition to stimulating investment and promoting the establishment of the quality projects the capital needs, creating job opportunities and strengthening the Municipality's revenues, away from the approach of increasing fees and taxes. In its work, the company will use varied investment methods, means and contracts to attract private sector investment at home and abroad, so that everyone in Jordan and beyond has an opportunity to invest in the Municipality's assets, open to all. The Municipality had previously launched, in June, Amman Vision Transport, which operates the Amman Bus project with 135 buses running on 27 routes within the Municipality's areas.
