Amman Vision and Sumou Holding Sign Three Real Estate Development Agreements and an MOU for an Integrated Urban Project

Amman Vision Investment and Development Company signed an agreement with Sumou Holding, one of the leading companies in strategic project development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Amman Vision Investment and Development, His Excellency Dr. Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, President of the Greater Amman Municipality Committee, Amman Vision Investment and Development signed three development agreements for distinctive projects in the capital Amman with Sumou Holding, one of the leading companies in strategic project development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a total investment volume of JOD 35 million.

The two parties also signed a memorandum of understanding to develop an integrated, mixed-use urban project spanning approximately 350 dunums along the Abdoun Corridor.

Amman Vision was represented at the signing by its Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Mustafa Abu Ghoush, while Sumou Holding was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Saeed Al-Nahdi. Attending on behalf of Sumou Group were Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ayed Al-Qahtani, Chief Executive Officer of Sumou International Investment, Mr. Anas Musleh, Chief Executive Officer of Sumou Jordan, and Eng. Khaled Khattab, Vice President for Development at Sumou Jordan. The signing was also attended by the City Manager of Amman, Eng. Nabil Al-Jariri, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Investment, Mr. Zaher Al-Qatarneh.

During the signing ceremony, both sides underscored the importance of building constructive partnerships that keep pace with the requirements of modern development and contribute to shared future visions that serve the community and strengthen economic growth. They also commended the role of the Ministry of Investment in providing the necessary facilitation, particularly in streamlining the procedures for establishing the regional company in Jordan and offering the incentives required to implement the projects, thereby supporting and strengthening the investment environment.

For its part, Sumou Holding explained that the signing of these agreements is consistent with its strategic decision to enter the Jordanian market in partnership with Amman Vision, reflecting its confidence in the Kingdom's promising investment environment and laying the groundwork for launching major strategic projects that strengthen its regional presence and deepen economic integration between the two fraternal countries.

Sumou Holding is a strategic partner in a number of major projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly in Makkah, Jeddah and Khobar. Among the most prominent of these is its partnership with Al-Balad Al-Ameen, the investment arm of the Holy Capital Municipality, on the Sumou Suburb project in Makkah, in addition to the Sumou Towers project on the Jeddah Corniche and the La Perla - Khobar project, a luxury tourism and entertainment complex located directly on the Arabian Gulf and extending over a development area of approximately 180,000 square metres.

The company is also developing regional projects in a number of Arab countries, including the Marina West project in Manama, Bahrain, and the Sumou Boulevard project in the Egyptian capital Cairo, reflecting its extensive experience in developing integrated and sustainable urban communities.
